Background Information
This sign was created by the Mississippi Lakes Association (www.lakemississippi.ca) to assist owners of docks, swim rafts and other similar installations on Lake Mississippi and other public waterways. This sign provides a polite message that angling near such areas is unwelcome because of hazards to swimmers caused by lost tackle and damage to inflatable structures caused by cast lures.
The sign is based on an original fish image (copyright 2007) drawn by visual artist and photographer Daniel Van Klei. Other examples of Mr. Van Klei’s work can be found on www.danielvanklei.com

Installation Suggestions and Disclaimer
In some mounting locations a backing of outdoor plywood or Chloroplast plastic may be necessary to provide the adequate support and protection. When mounting, be sure to cut any additional holes in the clear border. Penetrating the sign area could compromise its encapsulation.
